About Me

My name is Va Xee Moua. I'm a graphic designer, photographer and creator for my business, Create by Va Xee Moua LLC. I'm based in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  My work ranges from digital & print design, to photography and various fun projects! 

I specialize in creating new, interpreting, and recreating HMong patterns/designs. Using my own interpretation, I love to intertwine my work into almost everything. It is my own way of preserving my culture and continuing to pass it onward to the future generations as the past had onto me.

I am a self-taught fashion designer. I participated in Fresh Traditions XV fashion show in October of 2022. I showcased my PantSkort in VIIVNCAUS V-Show: Ignite on April 8th, 2023. As of recent, I created a line dance logo and logo-pattern collection for Phooj Ywg Line Dance (PYLD). The fashion show for the PYLD collection was showcased at Hmong Village Shopping Center on November 23, 2024. I'm currently focusing towards a HMong plus-size brand for myself in the world of fashion.

I take inspiration from my HMong heritage and personal life experiences, hence the reason why I love to travel, eat, and try new food/experiences. To make and understand something amazing, you need to have experience it.
